Direct Payments System

Direct Payments are a new way for individuals to meet their assessed care needs. Instead of the Local Authority arranging support, individuals can be provided with a monthly cash payment to buy their own support.
The Direct Payments Advice and Support Service offers support and advice through every aspect of managing Direct Payments.

Over a 3 month period ModMultimedia worked closely with staff from St Helens Council and St Helens CDP to develop a computerised client and case management system. The system helps staff to track and monitor each of their cases ensuring critical review deadlines are met and advice and support is correctly recorded. The system allows Managers to easily access important statistics and information at the touch of a button. Information that previously took hours to collate.
